Enchanted Palace

Did not go to college today, but i have made my day useful! Start with the best breakfast I have so far in England at Albion Cafe in Shoreditch.

Then Rigzin and i went straight to the Kensington Palace for the exhibition Enchanted Palace! A tale of the seven princesses, I have never studied any English history, but I think this exhibition has gave me an simple idea of what and who are these princesses. The installations, illustrations, graphics and garments are wonderful. This exhibition is a mixture of art, gothic fashion and live performance. There is work by all famous artist and designers like Stephen Jones, Vivienne Westwood, William Tempest, etc. It gives you a feeling of watching Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland but princesses.

Afterward we went to the Science Museum, V&A and the Saatchi Gallery. At the Saatchi Gallery is now showing the The Empire Strikes Back: Indian Art Today.

Obsessed with Marni

Looking at Net-a-porter, I cannot really keep my eyes away from all those pretty little creations by Marni. Very elegant.

They are gorgeous.

Maki ungo

The original plan of the day is to visit Kensington Palace to watch the Enchanted Palace, but it got canceled. Therefore, I just tidy up my room at the end. My housemate Huda is making cakes again. She has been making desserts almost every weekend now. This is too evil. Huda is a Graphic designer graduate from University College Falmouth, she is a award winning student (but I do not have an idea of what award is it) Click here to check her out ----> HERE

Not very nice to make fun of food, but we do finish the food without wasting.

Dandy J

Back in the days in 2006-2007. I have interned at DandyJ in Hong Kong for 13months. Jacqueline she is a fun, stylish and I would say childlike woman. In her designs, there is a lot of funky and playful elements. I have got 2 pictures of what she have done in 2007-2008 (Not very sure about the exact season, it was after I left), and I don't really have pictures of her recent designs. Here is the link of her blog maybe you can check her out yourself. My sister and I love her. She is a great person, feel free to contact her if you are interested to buy her designs.

While I was interning there, I randomly made this. I gave it a not very creative name called - Ditzy woman.

Ofcause there is a lot more I have done, but I am only going to show these.

Giles Fall 2010

Although its a lil late to post..
Interning at GILES for the last 3 months. Maybe working for people and work on my own work are too different, I have discovered t
he designs I have produced in college and at GILES are completely different. These are the pieces I have contributed during the placement. There is a lot more, but they did not make it to show in the show.

The last picture shown above is the piece i have involved the most. Maybe you cannot really tell from the photo or even the video, but it is a dress with 200% handwork 300% effort. Every single colour you see on this dress is applied by around 10 people, have used around 10 days to stick the size 8mm crystals one by one. I am proud of my baby.

I really enjoyed working at GILES, people at GILES are very nice and helpful.
I would recommend this place for work placement.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the inconvenient, i was trying hard to work out my other account (which I am not using). It was a hectic, since I did not really get how this works. Anyway, back on track...
Here for this blog, I am hoping to upload my work, designs or samples. Not really sure about what i can or i am going to post.
but here we are.
